Shah Law Group, P.C. began as a small private general practice of law 23 years ago in the southern suburbs of Pittsburgh, known as the "South Hills". Barbara J. Shah, a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law, opened a solo practice that year, renting office space in Bethel Park, PA from a local lawyer who focuses on real estate law. Shah's practice expanded rapidly, and she gained experience in drafting, negotiating, and litigating in a wide variety of cases in civil, family, federal and orphans' (probate) court. Shortly after the introduction of personal computers to the general public, Shah began to use them in her law practice, enabling her firm to process documents and letters efficiently.  Now that email and on-line resources are widely available, the firm employs these technologies to communicate and monitor developments affecting clients interests.

Since its inception in 1982, the firm has continued to add experienced support staff, up-to-date computer and electronic equipment, and professional staff with experience in varied areas of PA law. We aspire to provide efficient service to our clients, combined of both the law and the procedural rules which govern application of the law, together with respect for our clients' concerns and regular communications with our clients.
